In Times Of Transition Choose Ginger

With the school year coming to a close, my kids and I have begun to feel the effect of this time of transition.  We look forward to summer all year but now that it is only days away we are beginning to feel anxious and unsure. What will the new camp schedule be like? Will I still have opportunities to see my friends? We are feeling the mental strain of a looming transition.  We can all relate in some way. A change in your career path, a break up, a move. All of these events are ultimately transitioning us to exactly where we need to be and we can be mindful of that, but we could also use a little support. I often turn to my good friend Ginger!

 Ginger essential oil can be very helpful in times of transition. The oil is extracted from the root of the plant so it will help you to feel grounded and centered. It calms the nerves and helps you to focus and face challenges. It has an earthy but citrusy aroma which is uplifting and relaxing. 

 So if you are feeling overwhelmed because you are no longer here but you aren’t quite yet there, try taking some time to stop and smell the ginger.
