Calm for the Holidays Inhaler

There are so many lovely things about the holidays: spending time with family, cooking and baking, holiday shopping… There are also may stressful things about the holidays: spending time with family, cooking and baking, holiday shopping… You get it. We all know that the things that bring us joy this time of year can also leave us stressed out and exhausted. Here is an inhaler recipe I created to help keep you calm during the holidays. You can easily and discreetly use it when you are hiding in the bathroom from your family or waiting in a long line so you can purchase a pair of socks for your Aunt Vera.

Palmarosa  5 drops

Cymbopogon martin

sedative and calming, helps with exhaustion and stress

Ginger  4 drops

Zingiber officinale

helps with nervous exhaustion or feeling weak

Sweet Orange  10 drops
Citrus sinensis

helps with nervous tension and stress

Place inhaler cartridge in a sterile glass bowl. Add essential oils to to cartridge, then place cartridge back in the inhaler and you are ready to go.

How to use:

Simply hold the inhaler at a pleasing distance from your nose and take in its aroma for three to five minutes. You can do this with your eyes closed or while watching tv. There is no wrong time or place to smell something delightful and soothing to the soul
